engineering careers Top Engineering Videos – Mark Rober

US based Rober got interested in engineering at a young age by making a pair of goggles that helped avoid tears while cutting onions, he is now on of YouTubes biggest Engineering video makers.

Rober doesn’t just have a love of engineering though, he boasts a mechanical engineering degree from Brigham Young University as well as a master’s degree from the University of Southern California.

He went on to work at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and in October 2011 he recorded his first Youtube video. His channel now has over 20 million followers.

His channel has dived into just about every Engineering topic – from sparking ideas for April Fools’ Day pranks, to teaching about tricks like beating an escape room or even filming primates in zoos non-invasively.

Behind the fun though he is a true advocate of science and has well grounded videos about testing the ability for sharks to smell blood in water, fluidized sand and how water purification works.
