Engineering Podcasts – The Lovelace Effect

Engineering Podcasts – The Lovelace Effect

Okay – full disclosure – this isn’t a full podcast but an episode of the excellent ‘Chips with Everything podcast’ from the Guardian.

While Chips with Everything is a great general tech podcast we though this episode deserved special attention.

Ada Lovelace Day is in its 10th year, and to mark it the episode talks to the events founder Suw Charman-Anderson.

Suw talks about the importance of doing more to help support women working in STEM as well as speaking with Dr Tilly Blyth, the head of collections and principal curator at the Science Museum in London, to learn more about why Ada Lovelace was a mathematician ahead of her time

From connecting new mothers, protecting the UK from cyber attacks, or the best tech ways to plana night out, the podcasts candid conversations with inventors and entrepreneurs show the inspiring and funny sides of the tech industry.
