German researchers create technique to help wounds heal faster

Medical researchers from Germany have developed a method that uses cold plasma as a healing agent to help treat persistent open wounds, in what could be seen as a breakthrough in elderly care. The technique involves using a treatment device that uses an electrode to apply a high voltage across the wound and which bathes it in a cold plasma.
