Bloodhound SSC is gearing up for its a major milestone yet later this month. Starting October 26th it will undergo a series of 200mph test runs at Cornwall’s Newquay airport.

Speaking to theengineer.co.uk the Bloodhound team revealed “that this is the first time the car’s ever run and that’s a huge step for the program”.

The Bloodhound first test has been a long-time coming. To finally see a real-world test will be a fantastic achievement


Bloodhound’s first public run will be carried out Newquay airport between 26th and 30th October.
Monday 30th October has been set aside as a special STEM education day
