University of Sheffield develops 3D printed guide to repair damaged nerves

The University of Sheffield has successfully used a 3D printing guide to help damaged nerves to repair themselves. The device, called a nerve guidance conduit (NGC), was tested to repair nerve damage in animals and the team believe it could be used to treat traumatic injuries in humans.
