Manufacturing firms report increase in orders and employment

According to statistics published by the CBI Quarterly Industrial Trends Survey, which measured statistics over a three month period, British manufacturing firms have reported a 37% increase in new orders. 24% have reported a decrease, resulting in an overall balance of 13%. The statistics also noted a 5% increase in employment.
