Australian professors hope to develop 4D printing

Australian scientists have designed autonomous valve which they hope can lead to 4D printing. Professors from the University of Wollongong have compared the 4D printing process to a transformer toy – which can be printed and then change into a different shape. This could be taken further by then unfolding and biodegrading.
