Hitchbot experiment vandalized in America

Hitchbot is a Canadian experiment involving a humanoid robot trying to hitch-hike its way across the USA, relying on lifts from strangers. It had already successfully made it across Canada and Germany. However, it was destroyed by an unknown individual recently in Philadelphia, whilst trying to navigate across the USA. The team behind Hitchbot have promised to learn from the incident and continue the project.
