Report by Science and Technology Committee finds scientific advice is being ignored

MPs from the Science and Technology Committee have spoken out about the failure of the Government to fulfill its pledge to put science policy at the heart of its agenda. In a new report, the Committee also said that the Government lacks the “capability, experience or processes” to appreciate the scientific advice it is being given.
