Tron: Legacy vehicle designer to work on Formula E’s RoboRace

Formula E chief executive Alejandro Agag has announced that Daniel Simon, a German concept designer who has worked for Bugatti and Formula 1 teams and designed lightcycles for the movie Tron: Legacy, will contribute to the RoboRace autonomous vehicle competition. RoboRace is a competition launched by Formula E and Kinetik, and will test ten teams’ ability to develop AI systems to pilot autonomous electrically powered cars around racing circuits.
