Scientists test new electrode implants that enable movement for quadriplegics

Researchers from California Institute of Technology (Caltech), the University of Southern California (USC) and Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center have used electrode implants to enable a quadriplegic to use a robotic arm to carry out basic tasks, such as drinking a beer or performing a handshake.
