New system to reduce the CO2 content of natural gas

Scientists at Queen Mary University in Belfast have developed a new way to slash the environmental damage of natural gas. The system uses of combination of water and other liquids to absorb the CO2 from raw natural gas, after which it can be disposed of safely. At present, purifying natural gas is an expensive process in which large amounts of CO2 is typically released.
