New research predicts onshore wind will be the most cost-effective source of electricity by 2020

Research carried out by the Onshore Wind Cost Reduction Taskforce – which was set up by trade body Renewable UK – suggests that onshore will be the cheapest source of electricity by 2020. The research report also recommends better innovation by the industry and improvements to the grid connection system.
