Davies Commission favours Heathrow for expansion

The long-awaited result of the Davies report was published yesterday, with Heathrow recommended as the preferred airport for a third runway expansion. “Heathrow is best-placed to provide the type of capacity which is most urgently required: long-haul destinations to new markets,” Sir Howard Davies said.
