Climate Change Committee warns that urgent action is needed

The Climate Change Committee has warned that the UK must urgently focus on the impact of climate change to avoid the risk of further heatwaves and flooding. In a recent report, the Committee also warned that more needed to be done to keep emissions on track and that the Government’s recent decision to scrap future onshore wind subsidies could cost the taxpayer up to £1bn a year.
