Pupils celebrate National Women in Engineering Day with zombie challenge

Around 110 pupils from schools in the North East  celebrated National Women in Engineering Day by taking part in a “zombie challenge” organised by the Institution of Civil Engineers. The event involved escaping a hoard of zombies using their knowledge of engineering, such as water filtration systems and renewable energy sources.
