New collaboration to offer 3D printed implants to UK patients

JRI Orthopaedics, a Sheffield healthcare company has partnered with 3D printing services provider Mobelife to provide hip and shoulder implants to patients who face challenging reconstructive surgery. The partnership is set to benefit patients in challenging cases, using CT scans for personalised implants. Hip Product Manager at JRI Orthopaedics, Michael Colling-Tuck, said that this move “enables us to help patients with bone defects in the hip and shoulder which might, in the past, have been impossible to reconstruct.”
