Less risk for brain injury patients

Engineers and neurosurgeons have developed a bioresorable brain sensor, which reduces the risk of complications for patients with brain injuries. The implants, developed by scientists at Washington University School of Medicine and engineers at the University of Illinois, are wireless brain sensors which can be absorbed by the body. The wireless brain could be used to monitor patients with traumatic brain injuries.
