Intelligent handheld robots developed by Bristol University

Two members of Bristol University’s Department of Computer Science, Dr Walterio Mayol-Cuevas and PhD student Austin Gregg-Smith, have been developing intelligent robot prototypes that can ‘know and act’ – differentiating them from normal handheld robots. The technology uses an external camera that the robot then interacts with.
