Engineers create new milk cap that checks if milk is spoilt

A group of engineers from around the world have made the new cap using 3D printing. The cap uses a sample of milk to detect for bacteria, the amount of which will indicate whether the milk is spoilt. The team hope that as 3D printing gets cheaper, the cap could be a common feature of milk cartons in the future.
