According to a new report, DONG Energy will invest £6 billion in the Humber region over the period of 2013-2019. The Impact of DONG Energy Investments in the Humber Region report reveals that between 2015 – 2020, 1,600 construction jobs per year will be supported and up to 500 long-term jobs could be created within the company’s operations and maintenance activity. The report highlights that once future projects are fully operational, the electricity needs of over 1.5 million homes will be meet by DONG Energy’s offshore wind farms in the Humber.
