Biomedical device clipped to nose developed for soldiers in battle

Cambridge Design Partnership has developed a wearable biomedical device that measures heart rate and respiration, designed to monitor multiple trauma patients in battlefield and disaster situations. The First Response Monitor clips on to a patient’s nose and transmits vital sign measurements to a tablet or smartphone in real time via Bluetooth.
