Young engineers prepare for international Formula Student competition

This July at Silverstone, over 3000 students from 130 universities in 31 countries will compete in Formula Student, an educational motorsport competition run by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. These young engineers will be tasked with producing a prototype for a single-seat race car to present to a hypothetical manufacturer. The contest, in its 19th year, still needs volunteers including judges, and applications are open until Friday 11 March.
