Women in Work programme helps women progress in manufacturing and engineering

The Women in Work programme, introduced in 2006, has been completed by almost 200 women in the first quarter of the year. The programme aims to train women to succeed in advanced manufacturing and engineering, a male-dominated career, and has benefited women from companies such as Atkins, BAE Systems, Rolls Royce.
