When he was 11 years old, Adrian Westaway wrote a letter to the famous magician, Paul Daniels, wanting to learn how to make his teachers disappear. The reply he received sparked a life-long love of magic.
Now a design engineer and co-founder of the invention studio Special Projects, Adrian makes sure that all of the products he develops come with a little bit of magic.
‘Born to Engineer – Adrian Westaway’ is the seventh film in a series produced for the Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851 and the ERA Foundation as part of campaign to attract young people into engineering education and careers.
