Record 10 month car manufacturing figures for UK

The first ten months of this year saw UK car manufacturing post the highest production figures for over a decade. According to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), 1,318,452 new cars were manufactured during the first ten months of 2015 – the best performance since 2005. However, the SMMT also found that October’s figures were down by 0.7% when compared to the same period last year.
