Firms in the North East join to recruit more apprentices

Engineering companies in the North East are among those offering up to 40 high-level apprenticeships to help counter the skills shortage in science areas. The companies have worked together with Cogent Skills to create the positions. Apprentices will gain an industry-recognized, high-quality qualification at the end of their apprenticeships and will be given a comprehensive introduction into scientific industries.
