Danish government approves plans for tunnel to Germany

The Danish parliament has passed legislation that will pave the way for the construction of a £6.25 billion tunnel between Denmark and Germany. The bridge will run from the Danish island of Lolland and the German island of Fehmarn and is due to be completed by 2025.
