CodeParade is a channel of programming projects and experiments. Its creator builds things for fun and explains how they work along the way. Topics usually involve games, algorithms, machine learning and fractals. The channel is also behind Hyperbolica, a game set in curved, non-Euclidean space, which was documented in a series of devlogs.

Most videos take a mathematical idea and turn it into something you can see, hear or play. Explanations are clear and visual, with code and animation doing much of the work. Recent uploads include turning abstract groups from maths into puzzles and a video about a maths paper the creator published.

Some highlights include:

An introduction to non-Euclidean geometry, explaining how space behaves when the usual rules about parallel lines no longer hold.

The channel has around 510,000 subscribers.

CodeParade shows how programming and maths feed each other. Graphics, simulation and game engines all rely on geometry and clever algorithms. That makes it a good way into software engineering, computer graphics and games development, and a reminder that the maths learned at A level has real uses in code. Even the playful videos show careful problem solving.
