Manufacturing hubs receive £20 million boost

Universities and Science Minister Jo Johnson has announced that two manufacturing research hubs which will each receive £10 million.

The hubs which will be based at Brunel University in London and the University of Southampton, and will work in collaboration with other academics at universities across the country. It is hoped that the investment will provide a major boost to the UK’s manufacturing industries and address some of the challenges facing the industry.
