Ford engineers trial robotics technology, originally made for Cosmonauts

Researchers have developed technology to aid communication with robots in space, which could lead to mayor improvements in car communications on earth. Developed by Ford and St Petersburg State Polytechnic University, it is designed to allow more reliable car-to-car communication via the cloud. This is potentially useful in areas of low connectivity that cars may drive in, such as in a tunnel or rural areas.
