The Institute of Physics (IOP) held its annual Association for Science Education conference in Birmingham earlier this month. It is a popular event, attracting hundreds of science teachers and others involved in education.
The 27 workshops included everything from building jelly baby wave machines to a lecture on research-based practice in teaching.
In addition to the presentations and panel discussions, a drop-in space was provided where teachers could pick up resources and engage with the education team from IOP.
