RR Buildings is run by Kyle Stumpenhorst, who owns a small post-frame construction company in rural Illinois in the United States. He trained as a computer engineer before switching to building.

The channel follows his crew as they put up barns, garages, workshops and cabins. Videos show the whole process, from setting posts and framing walls to roofing and finishing. Some videos also cover groundwork with heavy machinery. A regular strand reviews new tools, and some videos promote the channel’s own merchandise, but most of the content is real building work shown in detail.

Some highlights include:

This video condenses the build of the company’s largest building into a 15 minute timelapse with commentary.

Construction is a huge employer, and civil engineers work closely with site teams like this one. Watching real builds shows how loads, foundations and materials decisions play out on site. The channel suits students thinking about construction apprenticeships, site management or civil and structural engineering. Building methods and rules in the United States differ from those in the UK. Even so, the planning, teamwork and attention to detail on show apply anywhere. Site safety is also visible throughout.
