Aston Martin has announced a significant investment in the UK, confirming that it will open a manufacturing plant in St Athan, Wales to develop its new concept car, the DBX luxury hybrid and electric 4×4. From 2017, Aston Martin will repurpose three super-hangars currently used by the Ministry of Defence, and aims to start producing vehicles by 2020. Welsh First Minister Carwyn Jones said he was “delighted to officially welcome Aston Martin to Wales”
