Stephen Hawking’s speech system released for developers

The technology used by Professor Stephen Hawking to speak via a computer has been released online by Intel, the company that created it. The Assistive Context-Aware Toolkit (ACAT) interprets tiny movements and translates them into English. Originally made for Hawking, it is now widely used by other sufferers of Motor Neurone Disease.
