Record win for Yorkshire manufacturer

The Yorkshire manufacturer, Wakefield Acoustics, has won a contract with a North Sea oil company. The multi-million pound contract to provide 17 high specification acoustic enclosures to Johan Sverdup oil field is the largest in its history. The oil field, which is located on the Norwegian continental shelf, is among the largest oil discoveries ever made in the region. At its peak, it is expected to generate between 550-650 barrels per day.
