Leeds Engineering and Physical Sciences Pathways webinar (22 June 2027)

A 45-minute online webinar introducing post-16 students, teachers and advisers to lesser-known engineering and physical sciences degrees, including chemical and process engineering, materials science engineering and computer science. It covers courses at Leeds, industry placements and graduate careers, with a Q&A with two undergraduates. The next session is on 22 June 2027, with booking opening in March 2027.

Blue Origin New Shepard crew capsule replica (Glasgow Science Centre, until 31 December 2026)

Glasgow Science Centre is hosting a 1:1 replica of the New Shepard crew capsule, a fully reusable suborbital rocket system built for human flight. Visitors get a close-up look at its exterior and interior, though they cannot enter the capsule. It is on display in The Street and included with day entry.

EventInstitution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE)

A free interactive exhibition in Rugby where school groups meet working chemical and process engineers and try hands-on activities. Companies such as McDermott, Carlsberg Britvic, PM Group and Severn Trent exhibit, alongside universities with chemical engineering courses. The event is currently at capacity, so schools can join a reserve list.
